This work begins during Olga Tragant residency in Japan. In the middle of a society where the contrast between tradition and modernity is extreme, a question emerges: where and how can we feel the essence of that which we call tradition.

In Traces different fragments are interwined and swing while creating  situations with a meditative timing and moments in which  the dance is dynamic and spreads through space.

The materials that create the set, with the rope as the main element, wrap the movement, establishing a strong link between movement and poetry and creating an intimate poetic atmosphere close to a ritual.
